My little wisteria seed (to be a bonsai in 4898303 years) is starting to sprout! The seed is popping open so I'm hoping that means we get to plant it today. I had to wait a whole week with that thing wrapped in a wet paper towel. I. Don't. Have. Patience. After what feels like months, tiny growth is finally happening!
Papi Gnome's Tip of the Week. "Let there be light," he exclaims. "Buy some grow lights...it's exactly what that wisteria needs," as he chuckles at himself. Good thing I'm one step ahead of him. I already ordered and received (from Amazon, gotta love them) both grow lights for my wisteria and for his bonsai, whatever it is. It's gonna be gorgeous. Because it has a light. :)
My Tip of the Week. Use coffee grounds for acid-loving plants like wisteria -- it boosts growth & blooms. Now keep in mind I have no context. I don't actually know what I'm saying. My AI friend, Axel, told me this tidbit of info. I know, right?!
So it sounds like we're not planting today. We have decided to wait another week or so, since it's barely sprouting, the seed. We want it to be more solid in its new growth. Ugh. I'll talk to y'all next Saturday! Think thoughts of growth, and send them my way! Thanks, y'all!
