Stripes Are Slimming Lies: 5 Fashion Rules We're Breaking with Our Gnome Apparel

Published on 18 March 2025 at 08:31

Warning: Fashion Rules Ahead--About to Get Broken!

  1. Horizontal Stripes Lie
    1. To say they add weight is pure nonsense. Our gnome models rock the stripes, and you surely do too! Keep on doing you, stripes lovers
    2. Gnome fashion often involves stripes, horizontal AND vertical
  2. Neon Isn't Just For Nightlife
    1. We're in the 21st century, folks! Neon is fun and vibrant and alive! Take a look at our 80s Babies Collection, it's all neon! I mean, who can have whimsical clothing without neons?!
  3. Distressed Denim Ages Well
    1. You can wear denim after thirty, but I was worried about this one as I approached thirty. I have two pieces that are staples of my closet that are denim, although only one is denim. Same rules apply!
    2. All creative gnome collections include distressed and non-distressed denim! At least a little bit. I'll never get rid of my little jean jacket.
  4. Sequins Shine Anytime
    1. We don't have to save sequins for formal events anymore. Now you'll see sequins on dresses, shirts, and sweaters everywhere!
    2. Sequins are especially amazing for enchanted home decor!
  5. Pattern Mixing Isn't Chaos
    1. You still wanna be slightly careful with this, don't overdo it, but you can absolutely mix patterns--sometimes it looks amazing!
    2. The patterns at Mama's Gnome Shop make for some whimsical and unique gnome gifts!
  6. You can Totally Wear Black After Labor Day
    1. I'm doing it today! But wait, is it after Labor Day?! Your gnome-themed home decor can be black all year round, too--although I don't design much with black in it. You're lucky there, maybe.

Hopefully that helps break some of the Stigma associated with these silly fashion rules that have come to be over the years. People just need to keep an open mind is all, and I think folks forget that. Or they don't want to--either way. All you can control is you!

Thanks for stopping by! Until next time...
